Anthony Freedman has purchased a cracking colt, from a famous pedigree cross, at the Perth Magic Millions Yearling Sale.
Freedman continues the stable's quest to buy "value for money" yearlings this season. This colt is available for new owners. View his details here.
Freedman, along with bloodstock agent Damon Gabbedy (Belmont Bloodstock) paid $50,000 for lot 112, an athletic colt by promising young sire Danehill Express from the former Freedman-trained mare, Ladies Dancing, by Zabeel.
The youngster was bred by long-time stable client Keith Biggs, who has part-owned some great horses with the Freedman brothers, including Doriemus, Danelagh, Serenade Rose and Royal Asscher.
The Danehill Express colt comes from the Danehill-Zabeel cross that produced the outstanding filly Atlantic Jewel, and the reverse cross also produced the Keith Biggs-bred international star, Vengeance Of Rain.
Of course, Freedman Racing will be active at the forthcoming Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale later in February. The Melbourne Premier is a growing sale, and it is worth remembering that the team bought the great Alinghi at this sale for only $80,000. We will be looking for quality and value again.
Anyone interesting in owning a slice of a promising yearling, make contact with the stable office to talk with Anthony or Lee.
